Bionicle: The Empire is to be the first movie to be produced by Red Star Studios, based on the online serial Dark Mirror written by Greg Farshtey. The script was currently finished and the movie would be created by the five animators who knew how to use Blender. At one point, all of the animators of BNG worked on the film to cotribute to it, and storyboarding had begun.
